Privacy Policy

Contengine Tech LLC (“Contengine,” “we,” “us”) operates the website runcontengine.ai and the Contengine application at app.runcontengine.ai (together, the “Service”). This policy covers both.

Information you give us

• Account details. Your name and email address, and a password if you create one.
• Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your email address, name, and profile picture. That is all we request and all we receive. We use it only to create and authenticate your account. We do not read your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or Contacts, and we do not request access to them. We never sell Google user data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
• Brand information. The website link or social handle you give us, plus anything you tell the setup chat, upload as a brand asset (logos, product photos, clips), or set as guardrails.
• Connected keys. If you connect a publishing account, the key you paste is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before it is stored. It is never shown back to you and is never exposed to the language models used by the Service.
• Payment details. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only what Stripe returns to us: a customer reference, the card brand and last four digits, and invoice records.
• Support email. If you contact hello@runcontengine.ai, we keep the correspondence so we can reply.

Information we generate or collect

• Research about your brand. We read publicly available information about the sources you give us: your website, your public social profiles, public reviews and listings. These sources are strictly read-only. We never post to, alter, or write back to any source you ask us to analyse.
• Content the Service produces. Concepts, scripts, captions, voiceovers, images, and video generated for your brand, along with internal quality scores used to improve later output.
• Usage and metering. Records of each AI call made on your behalf (model, category, units, and cost) so we can bill you at cost and show you the breakdown.
• Published-post performance. Where you connect a publishing account, metrics about posts we published for you, and click counts on the tracked link we provision for your brand.
• Anonymous website analytics. On the marketing site we use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic: page views, country, device type. It does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not identify you personally.

How we use it

To operate the Service: to research your brand, produce content for it, publish what you approve, bill you accurately, support you, keep the Service secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not run third-party ad trackers.

AI processing

Contengine runs AI on your behalf using our own provider accounts, and bills you what it costs us with no markup. Your brand information and content are sent to those providers to produce your content. We do not permit them to use your data to train their models. Providers we use for this are listed below.

Service providers

We share data with these providers only to run the Service:

• Vercel: hosting for the website and application.
• Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage for your brand assets and generated content.
• Railway: background workers and queueing.
• Stripe: payments, subscriptions, and invoicing.
• Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
• OpenRouter: routes our text and reasoning calls to the underlying model providers.
• ElevenLabs: voiceover generation.
• fal.ai: image and video generation.
• Pexels: licensed stock footage and imagery.
• ScrapeCreators: retrieval of public social data for the research step.
• Postiz: scheduling and publishing to the social accounts you connect.

This list changes as the product evolves. We will update this page when it does.

Retention

We keep your account, brand data, and generated content for as long as your account is open. Billing and invoice records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. If you close your account we delete your brand data and generated content, other than records we are required to keep.

Your choices

You can view and edit your brand information in the app at any time, and disconnect a publishing account whenever you like. To request a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account, email hello@runcontengine.ai and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data; write to us and we will honour them.

Security

Your data is isolated per brand and enforced at the database level. Connected keys are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data we will tell you.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you before it takes effect.
